Government Shutdown [View all]

Yes or no?

I think yes.

I think Pastor - er, Speaker - Mike will be unable to control the whole caucus. They will dither, piss and moan, but at the end of the day fail to get a bill to the Senate to read, let alone pass or reframe and return to the House. Assuming they even get that far. Just as likely, the House fails to agree internally about what to do.

The shutdown will be real and it will be long.

Related Bonus Question: Will Pastor Mike survive to the end of the year? I can imagine some GQP "moderates" (hahahahahaha) torpedoing him.
