3. I certainly don't condone the actions of Hamas, but I can understand it. Compare it

to slave revolts, or the backlash of Native Americans against the white European settlers. Maybe if Palestine had a conventional army that could stand up to the IDF they wouldn’t need to resort to terrorism. If Israel has the right to defend its territory, along with every other nation, why shouldn’t Palestine also have this right? I have no doubt that if Americans were living under the conditions imposed on the Palestinians we would be doing the same thing. Some of the actions of Americans before the Revolutionary War were pretty heinous. You can only oppress a people for so long and threaten their very existence before they lash out and strap on suicide bombs. It’s human nature. When you have nothing left to lose everything’s on the table.
