Let’s be honest, people like me think the base are absolute morons (probably being generous with such terminology), and they get offended when we tell them.

Here’s the difference, our side isn’t the only side who thinks they’re idiots. It’s the conductors of the train on the other side who think they’re idiots as well.

The difference is that we tell them, their side doesn’t tell them. The people leading their movement, their side, does something even worse - they prey on their idiocy, on their emotions. They’re all too happy to serve them Kool Aid all day, every day and that’s a big reason we’re here.

He knew he lost. His ego couldn’t publicly admit it and he knows he’s conned tens of millions to follow him to the end of the earth. And that’s how January 6 happened. His rhetoric incited it, inspired all of it, and his words carry so much weight to them that his word is the gospel.

There isn’t much he knows how to do, but he knows how to con people. His base can’t or won’t admit how hard they’ve been played.

So, he knows they’re after him, not them (otherwise, we’d see mass roundups at his worship me rallies and mass detainments just for them existing), he knows he’s being indicted because of what he did, not for them. He knows he’s being arrested for him, not for them.

He knows exactly what he’s doing by inflaming this rhetoric, and so much of it has managed to work.

It’s a massive gaslight on the other side and not just by him.

Again, maybe the worst thing we do when it comes to their idiocy is we point it out to them.

The worst thing their heroes do to their idiocy is they exploit it.
