to make sure she didn't just give her money and assets away to qualify for this vital government benefit. It's called the Medicaid Look back Rule.
If mom did give her money away, there is a penalty where she would not qualify for Medicaid for a certain amount of time (months and sometimes, years).
In some Red states, they may come after her children for medical bills. This type of recoupment almost went away entirely when Medicaid became law in 1965, but some states are trying to revive this practice.
I am not complaining, but I am simply asking this:
In regards to the SVB Bank, WHAT IS THE LOOKBACK RULE FOR EXECUTIVE BONUSES AND STOCK SALES when a bank fails?

I agree. If I have any assets, they should be used to pay for Medicaid if I need it.
