but I was really focusing on states that enacted maps that clearly violated the established rules. Unlike my home state of Florida, the NY court installed maps they determined were within the rules of New York. My state's courts chose to sit on their asses and let this clear constitutional violation stand. The appellate chose to let an unconstitutional map stand (pending their decision) and the Florida Supreme Court chose to let an unconstitutional map stand.
