The recent dust up, latest veiled death threat and racist rant from Donald Trump aimed at Mitch McConnell brought about the thoughts of Moscow Mitch's creation turning on him ala Frankenstein's monster. That's not a new thought. However, what Trump has really brought us is new twist on an old story. Instead of the ignorant peasants taking up their pitchforks and torches and chasing the monster to his ultimate demise, it's as if they've decided to join the monster in his rampage. They heard Frankenstein say "mmmm, fire good" and they looked at each other and said, "you know, that monster really speaks the truth. Let's burn everything down!" The real monster in this version of the story is the ignorant racist mob that's been unleashed and now can't be contained as they turn on their creator. They're just led around by a brain dead monster. Doesn't matter if he says "Fire good" or "Fire bad", it all sounds like real genius to the MAGAts. I'm not sure this is what Mary Shelly had in mind.
