So I have this idea for a poll regarding human disease/immunity response :) [View all]

That I'd like to ask everyone to participate in, if you'd be so kind

There's two dimensions to this, and I'm curious to see what the intersection looks like.

I want you to consider the total number of episodes in which, during the ages between 18 and 50 yo. (or however old you are, if less than 50) ... that you spent a day or more 'in bed sick', specifically due to some variety of infectious disease.

So, not a flare-up of a chronic condition or cancer or diabetes, or anything of that nature, but just plain SICK. I don't mean you never even got up from bed, but you didn't WANT to, except as absolutely necessary. Don't count 5 days in bed from 1 illness as 5 times, count it as 1 episode of sickness.

Here are the options for this parameter:
1) Sick in bed for at least 1 day, probably more than 3 different times
2) Sick in bed for at least 1 day, about 1 to 3 times
3) Sick in bad for at least 1 day, 0 times

And then for the 2nd parameter, I'd like you to consider how wide your exposure was to other humans, SPECIFICALLY BEFORE you were 18 years old.

Here are the options for this parameter (large city being 250,000 minimum population, and 'overseas' meaning an area significantly different from where you otherwise generally spent your time. UK/Ireland is not overseas, for example):
A) Rural/suburban life - less than 1 year in a large city, and without ANY period of time living overseas
B) Mixed rural/suburban and city life - 1 to 4 years in a large city, no time living overseas
C) Urban life - more than 4 years in a large city, OR any time living overseas
