6 days ago I started coughing & 3 days ago I posted about getting Covid [View all]

Many of you took the time to respond and wish me well, so many that I feel I have to post an update.

The fever broke this weekend and I've been slowly improving since.

Still coughing but I'm not congested anymore.

Haven't been able to piece together more that 3 hours of sleep at a stretch yet. The coughing wakes me up, but that's still better (Much better) than just a few days ago.

I can lay down now - For a while laying down made it very hard to breathe. Yeah, that was pretty much the scariest part of the disease. Being able to lay on my bed is a relief.

Took my dog for a short walk this morning and I didn't get short of breath & I wasn't laboring to breathe like last week.

Since I'm no longer drunk on cough syrup I can telework for the next week. No more burning PTO

I want to thank you all for the support and well wishes.

Most of my posts get 100-200 views and one or two replies, so I was a little overwhelmed with the response.

Again. Thank you all.

Edited to add: Still no sense of smell , but I am super happy at the progress.
