We know Trump was trying to get dirt on Biden from Ukraine. I wouldn’t put it past Trump and Barr to just make stuff up and have Biden arrested just before the election or even after it if/when Trump loses.
I mean, if you know that you are in jeopardy of prosecution the moment you are out of office you are going to do anything and everything necessary to not leave. It won’t matter that the charges will be completely bogus.
