Trump gets his two minutes of adoration while he gives his groupies their two minutes of hate.

Trump gets to rant, rave, and attack. Which makes him feel good and it feeds his zealots.

His followers soak that up like, well, oxygen. They cheer him, which feeds his ego.

Except it's really more like junkies at a trap house where the dealer uses his own product.

I'd imagine Trump is somewhat manageable - to their thinking - when he gets his fix. The bigger the fix, the easier to handle.
