However, the day after 45 was known to have won the Electoral College, I made up my mind not to let him make me bitter or ruin my life any more than could be avoided.

I have seen enough electoral losses, Presidency especially, - all the way back to Adlai Stevenson when I was in high school- that were so devastating at the time. But life went on, perhaps not all that we wanted but we/I had the capacity to find joy in everyday things and not let that person pull me down.
It's not worth it to give that Person that much control over your life.

So we find the joy in the small things - birds, flowers, a visit to the Park.

Meanwhile, let's all work - with smiles on our faces- to get that rude imposter of a president removed from the White House and from our lives.
