16. Sigh...

I hope all of you will especially our older DU'rs will get through this and have some good years (at least) after wards, and with people they/you care about!

So rough for so many people (as above didn't have to be this way!!!).

I'm 67 and (knockwood) so far no conditions that would exacerbate a covid19 diagnosis- but being very careful reduced my activities outside by 95%; doing masks, social distancing, gloves, hand washing, etc. I come from long lived family on both sides (no garentee).
We're in phase 1, so I hope to get to a park/garden, and meet up with a friend, a family member outside with distancing. Once a month for each. Being very careful! Still I'll be at an 85% reduction of my usual outside activities.

Am I scared at times? Oh, you bet!!!
Then Dumb Donnie The Selfish, and his repugs enablers enrage me at times. I do may best to limit those feelings with things I love, enjoy.

Finally having wifi date through my cellphone (had a basic one previously) has seriously kept me sane; fb - fam, friends, cute animals, beautiful nature, and human creativity etc. And learning persuing my many interests through various sites. Before I took a tablet to Library or the subway for free WiFi.

Anyway I am very lucky because as an artist; mostly drawing these days (hope to go back to some painting), artisan craftswoman (unique wire jewelry), and later in life knitter & crocheter - I have plenty to keep me busy at home. I need and want to get those things done!

Am I frustrated at times, yes, bc by mid-April I'd be out walking the parks & gardens so I feel a little bit of stolen of the best of Spring, Summer bc I treasure each best of Spring and Sumner each year. Just do my best to stay safe. Two people I know have access to park/garden near by. A bit of envy at times, but I so Soak Up the photos of flowers, trees, sky they post, especially because I know both places.

A gentle hug to each of you. May a miracle, unexpected good circumstances come your ways to help you and yours get through these rough, sad, scary times!
