I had two vacations booked and possibly a third to visit my cousins in New Hampshire. All 3 were places I've never been but always wanted to visit. I also had an entire year's worth of concerts to go to, including some huge stadium shows, and nearly all of them either got canceled or rescheduled. My favorite things to go to like the OC Fair and Angels games are all canceled or postponed.

I pretty much do nothing right now but read articles about when / if life will return to "normalcy", and play Civilization. I hardly ever leave the house for anything and I'm growing more anxious by the day. This year I turned 40, and my entire life I wanted a celebration for that. Instead I had to have my birthday party on fucking Zoom. It was a fine "party" but still, not the same as it would have been in person. And getting drunk at home isn't the same as being out and celebrating with family and friends. I also literally sit every day and count the days until the election and to next year.

I've never hated life more until coronavirus came along.
