(36,269 posts)3. Our county public health officer mandated masks weeks ago.
Most people wear them in public without being told, at least here in rural Northern California. We don't go out much but the places we do go, like grocery stores, generally require masks for entry. Can't speak for anywhere else.

NJ has mandatory masks if you want to go into any place of business. It's working out well.
