I went out on the porch and saw the protest going by, on the other side of the street, in the rain. Gave a lot of applause and 'thumbs-up' to them as they passed. Though it ended, so I went back inside, and then I heard horns again. Went back out, and there were more people. Realized that what was happening was that they were abiding by the red light at the corner, so they were coming through in bunches.

Lots of bunches.

A freaking WHOLE LOT of bunches.

There were people with signs walking by for over a half hour, with a lot of support from the drivers going by on this busy street.

People of all ages and races. Families with kids ranging from infants in carriers to teenagers. All wearing masks and practicing social distancing.

It was beautiful; I got a little choked up at one point watching this neighborhood in quiet, respectful protest.
