Did I do something bad? [View all]

So I am laying in bed reading the NY Times and look out the window and notice my neighbor two doors down was burning yard waste. It is really windy in Grand Rapids, MI today and the smoke was everywhere. I live in a nice residential neighborhood and know that burning is not allowed.

Having said all that, this home was the only home in our progressive neighborhood to have a Trump sign up in 2016.

I called the fire department to report it. They came out with a fire truck and put it out. I am almost certain the reason I felt compelled to do so was retribution for their support of Trump.

The pollution was bugging me, but my need to hurt them back really fueled my motive, I think.

I'm not necessarily proud of myself, but it kind of feels good at the same time.

Did I do a bad thing?
