(31,389 posts)there are only 120 cases in MA is because the diagnostics are not available to confirm it, which I believe is due to criminal negligence on the part of this administration.
This virus is deadly. Very contagious and there is no treatment. Italian doctors are now choosing who gets to live and who dies because the hospital resources to support people sick with it needing acute, intensive care, are over run.
It's not all about you. Look at some charts of the explosive, exponential growth of cases once the virus is in the community. The only way to stop that growth, to flatten the curve, and give our medical resources the hope of being able to handle the acute cases, is to limit the spread of the disease.
Enjoy your day, but keep your distance from other people. Wash your hands. Cover your mouth when you cough, because you may already have it and don't need to spread it around.
