Live in a smallish town, couple of hours from Melbourne, Australia. No confirmed cases here yet but Melbourne reported the first batch of person-to-person infection just yesterday. I'm very aware of the infection curves in other countries and honestly don't expect ours to be any different in time.
The difference is, we are going into winter; I'm already leery of sitting in the waiting room of one of our two clinics. I expect them to become petri dishes.
I tend not to like travel at the best of times, preferring to spend my time walking the beaches and bush track with the dogs.
I've stepped up the hand-washing, duck into Aldi or supermarket for essentials and take my temperature daily. Have COPD which is managed but don't fancy my chances if I contract coronavirus.
