Girls are often raised with the implicit expectation of serving others. Nurturence behavior is praised while controlling behavior is condemned. Walk the toy aisle and there you have it.
Yes, it has gotten better since I was a child in the 70s and 80s, but still there.
Oddly, the way we condition females in societal child-rearing can make for excellent leaders on the global stage. Liberals see that. But that's a side effect, not the original intent. Hmm.
