I can't imagine why they would care about us or to be willing to risk ANYTHING for us. And I don't see Russia just letting their trolls off with a firing if they catch them doing anything other than the troll job. That would probably be treason if they were actually helping us. At the very least, some time to think about it in Siberia...

They're not the "anti-civility." They're the political dirty tricksters of this era, trying to sway elections for money and power. You'd have more luck trying to get ScabbyAnne ConJob to STFU. :p
