So you're "...getting seriously tired of students launching protests, many times with the enthusiastic support of college faculty and admin, at the drop of a hat"? Sorry to hear that, but Oberlin College has a proud history of standing up for liberal causes going back to your grandparents, great-grandparents and probably g-g grandparents.

Just for starters:

Oberlin's progressive history began during the antebellum period. In 1835 it became the first predominantly white collegiate institution to admit African American male students and two years later it opened its doors to all women, becoming the first coeducational college in the country.


Sorry to hear folks are "getting seriously tired." They'll just have to pull themselves up by the bootstraps and get over it.
