I'm thinking Yale cuz I live in New Haven. It's close enough to NYC so there's that attraction. And I like the Yale community and New Haven.
Also, would she consider a woman's college? My daughter benefited greatly from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. Nice school but some young women don't like the idea.
These two schools are heavily endowed and can offer great scholarships.
I wish her and you the best. It sounds like an exciting time for your family!

My kids get things like that. One went to George Mason amd spent a week. It didn't mean anything.
