I myself went to an online university that screwed me over, I didn't think this was like that.
I don't even mind if she gets any units out of it, the experience itself is what's important. We've watched vids of kids who have gone and many of them said it was a valuable experience.
She went to a gay/straight Ally leadership thing last year...Not for units, but for fun. Downside it was at UC Merced (nowhere!) and it was just 3 days...the driving to and from nearly killed us lol

My kids get things like that. One went to George Mason amd spent a week. It didn't mean anything.
