These programs are non-selective and run by a for-profit entity. Perfectly fine, if youve got the $$$ to shell out for your kid to get a good experience, but if not Id probably avoid. They wont add anything to her application profile although they do line the pockets of the company that runs it and the tenured Stanford law profs that help them.
Heres a tip; she could use her summer to do voluntary work at an immigrant rights organization ... that will give her some REAL world experience and is like GOLD when it comes to her college app. Good luck, kid sounds smart and will be a great asset to America.

My kids get things like that. One went to George Mason amd spent a week. It didn't mean anything.
