4. Early voting in very blue precinct and city in purple N.C.
Tue Oct 23, 2018, 06:17 PM
Oct 2018

Lines were longer than usual Sunday afternoon for early voting. Enthusiasm among voters seemed high. The precinct workers were very careful and meticulous.

In my city, it's always a choice between progressive and even-more-progressive, so not representative of the rest of the country. However, heavy turnout here is needed to win progressive races statewide.

We have some nasty underhanded amendments to defeat. Beyond that, no significant statewide races this year in NC.
