To find the house it is not sufficient to look at assessor records which go back only a few years. You need to look at Registry of Deeds records... Also the names of the parents of Tim Gaudette would help, because they are the likely owners listed in deeds.

Once you find one address for his folks then you can look at the documents around time of purchase which sometimes show the previous address.

One conservative poster listed 3714 Thornapple Street, Chevy Chase as a possible address of a suspect OTHER THAN Kavanagh but this might have been an attempt to shift blame for the incident to a football teammate of Kavanaugh's.

Someone with an Ancestry.com account might be able to look at city directories for Chevy Chase for the 1970s and 1980s to get started.
