The senate then as now voted they had jurisdiction even though he was a "Private Citizen" but also as now, they voted (by one vote) to acquit.

These QOP assholes are just using the jurisdiction issue to talk out of both sides of their mouths, hopefully losing only a few of their rabid supporters.
