(56,829 posts)Politically, I probably like Warren the best, but I'm afraid she'd get hammered in a national election, as she still hasn't come up with a short, sharp response on the issue of her heritage. (Hillary never had a great response on the email issue, I thought) And, while I consider her charismatic as a Democrat, I'm not sure she would come across that way to moderates or disaffected Republicans.
I think Booker meets the smart, young and charismatic threshold like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, but I think he has some issues in his past that could be troubling to those that insist on purity - his support for charter schools, for one. However, he can be a really passionate speaker and I think can fire up the base. Plus, he played D&D when he was younger.
I like Joe Biden as well, but he's older than Democratic winners over the last half century - JFK, Carter, Clinton and Obama. However, he would be great at zinging Donny during a debate. My concern would be that he does make gaffes and with trump's ability to drive the news cycle, it would get magnified way out of proportion to any single thing done by Trump.
I also like Harris and would love to see if we have any good governors that can run.
