(58,785 posts)voted happily for Hillary as their second choice.
What we're talking about are the OTHER 8+% of B Sanders voters. The hostiles, the anti-Democrats, whose favorite delusions and lies were merely amplified by the Russians.
THAT's their technique: To identify character flaws and weaknesses that need divisions and feed them.
It's still happening, of course. Subtract the majority who wanted Hillary in the primary, plus the 90% of Sanders voters who joined them, as well as the conservative spoilers who voted Sanders to defeat Democrats, and we're left with a single-digit group too small to affect the party -- on their own.
As a tool for Republican, conservative media, and Russian propaganda, though, hostile dissidents can be used to hurt the Democratic Party, and that's the problem. More so when they know it and accept the assistance. Their lying message of crooked Democrats did not originate with them, but with the right; they and the Russians piggybacked on it though.
