(4,463 posts)... appears to be whether there is any reason to be concerned over whether or not privileged material about clients could be caught up in the material seized.
If they are looking at communications between Cohen and a client other than Trump, thats potentially a problem. But if Cohen did not have any clients other than Trump, then thats not much of a problem. That means the only material theyre looking at would be Trump material. That could still be privileged material and communications - even if Trump is the ONLY client. But not everything you tell your lawyer is privileged, and there are some exceptions even if it is privileged.
The prosecutors look to be defining and specifying the actual issues before the court - not trying to claim Cohen has lost his attorney status.
