After all, we could have the truly greatest healthcare system in the world, and yet our government and institutions choose to put profits and control ahead of patient care.

We have for-profit incarceration.

We have a war on (some) drug (user)s.

We decided to throw out the votes of 65 million Americans and have an electoral clown college go with confederate flag wavers, Pizzagaters, and people who think 'national security' means "At least the mass shooter was white"

We have an evangelical church that has our government on speed dial and trying to dehumanize GLBTQ people, God knows what they have planned for them.

Our "honorable" legislators are getting into Twitter fights with school shooting survivors.

We talk about "Mission Accomplished" yet we have brought nothing but misery into the Middle East.

We talk about "economic anxiety", yet we gloss over people going to bed hungry and focus on people who simply don't want to work alongside dark skinned people, that's racism not economic anxiety. But hey, we don't really have any economic issues even though people are homeless and hungry, the Dow is just fine, so we're doing just great, right?
