Where are the marches in the streets? Where is the crowd going down to the Capitol demanding impeachment and investigating Republicans. Where is the General Strike to shut down the economy?
Americans are apathetic and whine about how bad things are, but won't rise up to stop it. Imagine what France would be doing right now in a similar situation. They'd have shut down the country and be rolling Guillotines out into the streets.
