(4,448 posts)44. Everything passes. We said the same thing during the Bush years.
Sometime in the next decade or two. We'll be dealing with the new great evil, whoever that is.
And Trump in the rearview mirror will look the same as Nixon and Bush do to us now. Look at the DU archives if you have a few minutes. The fear and angst that we suffered then was no different than it is now. Today, we barely even mention Bush.
And that's when we'll be wondering how we'll will ever get past whatever it is that is going on then.
