J. Edgar Hoover, Nixon, Jim Crow and race riots with the entire South switching to the Republican Party, Viet Nam and Johnson quitting over it, Reagan trying to undo the Great Society, Clinton's impeachment...
And, before me last century there were the Trustbusters, Depression, two world wars, suffragettes getting the vote...
The list goes on. As a nation, we have survived more upheavals than Trump is capable of.
The only thing we should fear is that we lose our will to go on.
