Hell, IIRC, there were a good number of GOPers that were against the original Stimulus arguing either that was too expensive and/or that it would disincentivize Poors from the working on any pitiful job they could get out of sheer desperation (same for boosted unemployment!) and thus breed laziness among the serfs
