People are worried, and rightly so, about the pandemic,

but the loss of life and the loss in the economy under this pandemic is almost nothing compared to what the loss of life and loss of the economy will be because the world as a whole is not doing anything significant about climate change. Almost no one is looking at what this world will be like in 50 years. We have 13 great-grandchildren and their lives and their children's lives will be the worst in well over the last 100 years. And I have my doubts that there will be any meaningful work done in at least the next 30-40 years to slow down climate change. I guess I should be glad that I am 72 years old.

I just don't want people to get paranoid. There are things trump and putin can do to hurt us in the election and we must be careful, but I honestly do not believe the Republicans in Congress or The Supreme Court will follow him. They know that they could destroy the Republican Party. I think the Republicans are smart enough to know that a Democratic President and Congress will give them enough fodder for the 2024 election. I am sure that The Lincoln Project will start running anti-Democrat ads at least a year before the 2024 election.
