Warren and Klobuchar Teach the Boys a Lesson: At the Democratic debate, gender comes to the fore.

"In contrast, Warren noted, “The only people on this stage who have won every single election that they’ve been in are the women — Amy and me. And the only person who has beaten an incumbent Republican any time in the past 30 years is me.”

"Klobuchar, a third-term senator from Minnesota, said you don’t need to be male to win just as you don’t need other qualities pronounced necessary or optimal by some unnamed, amorphous committee of pronouncers. “You don’t have to be the skinniest person in the room,” she said. “You don’t have to be the loudest person. You have to be competent.”

“And when you look at what I have done,” she added, “I have won every race, every place, every time. I have won in the reddest of districts. I have won in the suburban areas, in the rural areas.” That, she added, was why she had “the most endorsements of current Iowa legislators and former Iowa legislators in this race.”

Amy Klobuchar touts bipartisan appeal during Las Vegas visit

"Klobuchar said her record in Minnesota — where she’s won big majorities in both blue districts and red — demonstrates she can reach across the aisle and cooperate on issues with her Republican colleagues. “I think people are not interested in just fighting for four years and seeing this move on. They want to have a country that is bigger than that guy in the White House. They want to see someone who thinks about these ideas with her head, yes, but also with her heart.”

"But cooperating doesn’t mean surrendering your values, Klobuchar said, with pointed attacks on Trump during the town hall and in her interview afterward."

Amy Klobuchar campaign organizes 99 'day of action' events in 99 Iowa counties

"Days before the final Democratic debate in Iowa, U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar's campaign will hold organizing events in each of Iowa's 99 counties."

"Saturday's push will include 99 canvassing and phone banking events led by surrogates from Iowa and Minnesota. The campaign dubbed the 99-county organizing effort the "Full Klobuchar" — a nod to the "Full Grassley," which is the feat of visiting all 99 counties in one campaign."
