A New York state judge just ordered the Trump Organization to turn over all documents regarding a property at the heart of a civil investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James into the company’s financial and tax practices.
I heard rumors that Trump was going to pardon his money guy Allen Weisselberg, but is that smart? Couldn't they force Weisselberg to testify against Trump if he is pardoned?
Pinochet Did Nothing Wrong

It says a lot about how these people think. Pinochet conspired with Nixon, Kissinger and our CIA to overthrow the thriving Socialist government of Chile, with a thriving middle class. Pinochet used the military, he drove tanks down the main thoroughfare and fired 24 missiles into the federal building in his coup to gain power. Pinochet, either imprisoned or killed anyone who was on the left.
The Libertarian, Chicago School of Economics, Milton Friedman, went to Chile to set up its economy. Everything was privatized, only the rich were educated, safety rules were tossed, women could only work in certain jobs. Chile lost its thriving middle class under Milton Friedman's economics.
This is what the Proud Boys want for America? They are so stupid if they don't know the history of Pinochet and what he did to Chile.
They only react to a word, "Socialism." Their goal is to destroy Socialism because they were told that it is bad and of course Democrats are Socialists.
I worked in Chile in 2002 and 2003 and I saw the effects of Pinochet.
Election fraud purpose
I mean I wish that the MSM, cable news, CNN, MSNBC, would just stop covering it. Mention it and laugh, call it dangerous but stop making it a 24/7 news item. The purpose of these election fraud claims is the exact same thing that Republicans did after Obama was elected president, they met and agreed to obstruct everything. People, this is going to serve the same purpose. We have seen it for the past 10 years, Republicans are not ever going to work with Democrats, not ever. This election fraud nonsense will be used as an excuse for not working with the Biden administration.
Joe can reach out to Republicans but I don't foresee any reach back. I saw this suggestion on cable news last night. What Trump did with his one after the other controversies and dirty deeds, so many that we couldn't keep up, one bad policy was followed by another bad policy and the old bad policies were forgotten.
Biden needs to same thing Trump did, fire one good policy after another, rapid fire them so that the media can't keep up. Deluge us with Biden policies, get everything you can get that doesn't need Republican approval, because Joe isn't going to get any, ever.
I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist, I watched what Republicans have done the past 10 years.

On January 21st Trump is a common man. He needs to provide his DNA to the lady he raped in a clothing store change room. That is going to leave a mark. Trump may try to pardon himself for federal crimes but New York is loaded for bear. Also, get rid of the cronies in the IRS and replace them with honest people.
Deutche bank wants rid of him, the only bank he could get loans from, plus he owes them a lot of money.
You know, I don't even care if Trump ends up in jail, it would suffice me to see him broke with no "friends. That won't sit well with a life long Narcissist.

Voting machines
The ownership of the voting machines that we vote on is pretty sketchy, to say the least.
Here is what bothers me. Ivanka, most likely, in Nov. of 2018 was given a trademark in China to manufacture voting machines.
So, you can see where I am going with this. Are we voting on machines that were manufactured by Ivanka Trump? I mean when Trump went ballistic about mail in voting that meant to me that less people will be voting by machine. The states are in charge of running their elections, if you get my drift.
I know we don't deal in conspiracy theories here but we can't even determine who owns the machines we vote on.
It came to my attention when we started having discrepancies in exit polling and actual results. No matter what Republicans say, exit polling is a good indicator of how people voted.
Of course Trump has made me paranoid, but I have never trusted electronic voting. The machine that I voted on had no paper trail and no means to do a recount.
Mail in ballots are paper ballots, much harder to cheat.

California Drop Boxes.
I just had this horrible idea why the GOP installed illegal drop boxes in California, I hope someone can convince me otherwise.
I believe that even though all of the ballots won't be counted on election night, I believe that Joe Biden will still have enough electoral votes to make it obvious that he is the winner, unless California's electoral votes are not included. I can envision California ballots, from those illegal drop boxes may just turn up in dumpsters. Trump can declare the California election is rigged. I am sure he will also challenge elections in other states that have a lot of electoral votes. Without California's electoral votes it will give Trump's lawyers time to challenge the election and send it to the Supreme Court that will then declare Trump to be king.
Please, someone with some legal expertise, convince me why that scenario can't happen?
I see no other logical reason why they installed those drop boxes. They want to get their hands on a lot of ballots and use them as Reichstag fires.
Florida Republicans crying over Bloomberg.
I love it. My local right wing site is crying about how rich people can buy politicians. I read them the riot act over Citizens United.
Repugs are claiming that Bloomberg committed a felony;
18 U.S. Code § 597
Whoever makes or offers to make an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate; and
Whoever solicits, accepts, or receives any such expenditure in consideration of his vote or the withholding of his vote—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.
I replied that Bloomberg is just making a wrong - right. Why do former felons have to be debt free in order to vote? Isn't that a poll tax?
I'm sure that Bloomberg touched all bases with this but I love the smell of red neck panic in the morning.
