The number one reason to vote for a Democrat in November

Do you really want Trump appointing her successor?

Here is something interesting that I've noticed on Twitter and Facebook

Many of the people who are denouncing Biden as a rapist with the rationale that all women should be believed were attacking all nine women who accused Al Franken as liars just a few months ago.

I guess for them all women should be believed but only when they accuse a politician that they don't support.

Disclaimer: I'm not making any commentary about either the Biden or Franken cases. Just pointing out the differences by some of their response to each.

Full Frontal with Stacey Abrams

So where are all of Bloomberg's and Steyer's anti-Trump ads?

Both said they were dedicated to getting Trump out of office and that the Presidential campaigns were not just vanity projects. They said that they would continue their efforts after they ended their campaigns. Yet I haven't seen any of their anti-Trump ads on TV. They were all over the place when they were still running. Now nothing. Bloomberg even fired staffers he promised to retain until the election.

So were either of these rich guys telling the truth?

If you really cared about progressive issues and values why would you let Trump be elected?

This behavior really confuses me. We are down to 2 candidates in the Democratic primary either of which will be a better President than Trump. Yet I see some threatening to not vote for the nominee if it is not the candidate that they currently support. This really doesn't make any sense to me. Why would anyone who does care about moving the country in a more progressive direction want to see another 4 years of Trump and the GOP? Do they really want Trump appointing 2 more Supreme Court Justices?

Maybe it is just me but I see that attitude as not really caring about issues but just wanting to be on the winning team and getting your way. Am I wrong?

Should April Fools day be renamed

Trump Supports Day? I mean they are fools if they are still supporting him.

Sanders say there is a path to win the nomination

I wonder if Susan Sarandon

and everyone else who refused to "compromise their principles" in 2016 by voting for Hillary Clinton feel any guilt for the people who have died from Coronavirus due to Trump's total denial and mismanagement of the situation?

Most Nominees don't pick a former primary opponent as VP

Sure Obama did but that is the exception not the rule.

Trump picked Pence who didn't run in the GOP primaries in 16.
Bush II picked Cheney.
Clinton picked Gore.
Bush I picked Quayle.
Carter picked Mondale.
Nixon picked Agnew.
Eisenhower picked Nixon.

Going back almost 70 years there only 3 cases of a nominee picking a former primary opponent as VP, Johnson in 60, Bush in 80 and Biden in 08. More than twice as many times, they picked someone who didn't run against them in the primaries.

Now Biden might but it I wouldn't advise anyone to expect it.

Imagine if during this crisis the Democrats decided on total obstruction

just like the GOP did during the financial crisis in 2009.
