Scottie Mom's JournalI know there are medical professionals on the DU. I have an issue with gatekeeper medical care.
I would appreciate it if you give me your thoughts -- good and/or bad -- on this system. I find it very frustrating when the need for a specialist is obvious that one has to wait not only for a primary care appointment, but then get in line to see the specialist.
Also: Is anyone else frustrated by this system?

I tested NEGATIVE for Covid!
I have been really sick with all the symptoms. Had a PCR test and got the results today. I'M NEGATIVE FOR COVID. Thank gawd -- I'm in my 70s and have a history of asthma. Really have been worried about this.
Have a bad cold and allergies and have been feeling badly. Glad I am vaccinated and boosted and have used masks and social distancing. I'll take the damn bad cold and allergies over Covid...any day!

Is anyone else old enough to remember George Gwaltney -- (This is about Rittenhouse.)
Gwaltney was a CHP officer in the Barstow, CA, area. His state defense counsel, George Porter got Gwaltney off on murder charges in the State case. Gwaltney was convicted on violation of civil rights charges in the federal case and died in federal prison.

The Bottom Line is: One does NOT need an AR 15 to render first aid. PERIOD!!!!!
That is my main issue with Rittenhouse -- there simply is no good explanation for this. Also, if one is going to render first aid, where was anything on his body -- such as a shirt with a BIG RED CROSS -- that indicated he was a peaceful person looking to aid the injured. He was pointing a lethal weapon at people -- how in the hell is this a method of rending first aid?????
The above defies logic...unless, of course, one is a Trump-humper.
