professional goats casually takeover a Boise neighborhood, going house to house eating everything

More than 100 goats have burst into a neighborhood in Idaho startling residents and captivating spectators on social media as they feasted on lawns, flower bushes and tree leaves.

The herd of goats had been at work clearing some land for the county when scores of the inquisitive animals escaped at about 7am on Friday and wandered into a Boise suburb, their owner said.

'They were on a pond that the county had hired us to clear, and it looks like they pushed through some of the wood boards and got out that way,' said Matt Gabica, co-owner of We Rent Goats, a company that provides goats to clear weeds on private and public property.

'A bunch of homeowners and a bunch of kids had some excitement.'

At about 8:30 a.m., a large truck from the company We Rent Goats arrived and rounded up the goats. KTVB reported that the goats had been grazing nearby when they somehow escaped and set off on a snacking tour of the neighborhood.

neighborhood in Boise, ID became the scene of an unexpected goat takeover this week, as “about 100” goats descended on the lawns and gardens of a residential area — to the surprise of homeowners waking up to discover their new neighbors snacking on their front yards.

“They are going house to house eating everything in sight. Nobody has a clue where they came from…” tweeted out local news reporter Joe Parris on Friday morning. The goats came in all shapes, colors and sizes and were snapped meandering around sidewalks and even making a few attempts to climb trees.

he event he coined “Goat-a-Palooza 2018” got many scratching their heads trying to figure out just where the goats had come from. But in the end, the mystery was solved as the animals were herded together and returned to their ostensible home.

“Party is over ‘kids’!” Parris continued to update. “Loose goats have been cornered and loaded back onto a truck owned by ‘We Rent Goats.'” According to local news, the goats had been stationed on nearby land where they were let loose grazing; herds of goats are often used as a natural form of fire suppression and weed clearing. But somehow this particular group got away from their station and decided the neighborhood’s nice green lawns were more to their taste.

Protester gives crowd "the bird" as she's marched out of rally, Trump talks crazy to baying crowd

The fake, fake, DISGUSTING news': Trump ramps up his attack on the media who 'make up stories' and claims they ignored his 'successes' with Putin and Kim, as baying Pennsylvania crowd chants 'CNN sucks'

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6021451/President-Trump-hails-returned-fallen-heroes-North-Korea.html

Trump attacks the 'fake, fake, disgusting news media' to chants of 'CNN sucks', slams 'low-IQ' Maxine Waters, and gushes about tea with the Queen in passionate Pennsylvania rally, but one protester gives the bird as he is marched out

Time and time again, Trump denounced the press for underselling his accomplishments and doubting his political rise.

The President described how he told his wife Melania he had 'just stopped missiles from being launched every two seconds' or accomplished other things, and thought the media' was 'finally going to treat me so good,' but didn't.

Trump continued his barrage against the press by commentators for saying he wasn't tough enough on Putin.

'They wanted me to go up and have a boxing match,' he said. 'Whatever happened to diplomacy?'

Trump described the meeting as 'great' and slammed the 'Russian hoax', claiming Russia was 'unhappy Trump won'.

'In Helsinki, I had a great meeting with (Russian President Vladimir) Putin. We got along really well,' he said. 'By the way, that's a good thing, not a bad thing. Now, we're being hindered by the Russian hoax — it's a hoax, ok?'

Trump then moved on to his meeting with the Queen during his visit to Britain.

recent Trump speech 76% lies, President Trump is not your run-of-the-mill liar

President Trump is not your run-of-the-mill liar

-----

In a speech Mr. Trump gave earlier this month in Montana, it was found by the Post that 76 percent of the claims made by the president were “false, misleading, or unsupported by evidence.”

Peter Wehner, who is a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, and who served in the Reagan, H.W. Bush and Bush administrations, appeared on the Newshour program. And while acknowledging that all presidents lie to some extent, Wehner said that, “We don’t have a run-of-the-mill liar in the White House, we have a pathological liar.” Seeming apoplectic, Wehner went on to say, “This is a man who lies on personal matters, on political matters, on domestic and international (matters) – he lies morning, noon and night. It’s just never-ending. We’ve never had a president who lies so pathologically.”

Wehner said this is especially troubling because of the number of people who believe our president’s lies, who accept them, who indeed believe Trump’s claim that the so-called “fake news” has it all wrong.

The senior fellow also said that the president’s lies have “tremendous damaging effects on the political and civic culture of a nation. ... A self-governing nation can’t run if you don’t have a common set of facts, if you can’t agree on common realities. We have a man in the White House who is engaged in, not just an assault on truth, but an effort to annihilate truth.”

--------
Also interviewed on the program was Laura Brown, who is the director of the Graduate School of Political Management, and who is also the author of several books on presidents. Brown said that, “One of the things that you see with this president is a desire to lie on everything.” “Trump’s lies,” she went on to say, “create confusion among the public,” and as a result, truth is not easily distinguished from falsity. And it is just this confusion that “allows his base to continue to support him and to believe his version of reality and not the news media’s actual version of reality.”

Roughly the same percentage of those who voted Trump into office constitute those who continue to support him, and likewise are those who have succumbed to Trump’s lying campaign, if we may call it that. And this segment of our society seems destined not to budge in terms of their support for our president, when the time comes for him to run for reelection.

But it is true also that Donald Trump will play a particularly outsize role when voters head to the polls come November, which is expected to be a referendum on the president as has not been seen in years.

Democrats asking whether Trump golf club members got Air Force One tours as perk of membership

Democrats asking whether Trump golf club members got Air Force One tours

A group of Democratic senators is asking the Pentagon to investigate whether President Donald Trump and his family gave improper access and tours of Air Force One to members of the president’s golf clubs, which they believe could be a violation of government ethics laws.

“If true, these reports could mean that the President or his family have used government property for private gain - giving tours of Air Force One as a perk for club membership - or that some citizens have potentially been able to buy access to Air Force One via their personal payments to the President's private club,” the senators wrote in a letter directed to the inspector generals of the Air Force and Department of Defense on Wednesday.

Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Tom Carper of Delaware, Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, and Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island said their concerns were raised after a Buzzfeed News report alleged that two separate tours were scheduled in February but they were “recorded differently compared to all other Air Force One tours … unlike the other records, they don’t list an agency name or title of the official in charge of the tour.”

The White House told Buzzfeed News at the time that “it is common for friends/family of the president to receive tours of Air Force One,” and suggested that it was nothing out of the ordinary as it's something previous administrations had done “going back years.” The White House also said those who had been invited were “most likely longtime friends of the president.”

Airbrushed photo of Trump Jr. and his girlfriend inspires hilarious comparisons

If you've ever wondered what Don Jr. looks like without any pores whatsoever, then today's your lucky day!

A photo of Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle, his new girlfriend and disgraced former Fox News personality, was quickly turned into a meme once people noticed how airbrushed the couple looked.

Really, just look at this photo. Not a wrinkle, pore, or blemish in sight. Not even the most skilled plastic surgeon could Botox someone into looking as smooth as this.

And is that an app-generated twinkle in Trump Jr.'s eye?

What Trump is doing to America is not normal

https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/01/opinions/what-trump-is-doing-to-america-is-not-normal-opinion-dantonio/index.html

You cannot go wrong by expecting the worst from Donald Trump.

Within 24 hours, he called on the attorney general to halt the investigation into his campaign's links to Russia, slammed the criminal prosecution of his former campaign manager Paul Manafort as a "hoax," and lied with great confidence at his Florida rally about his own popularity. Add his wacky claim that people need to present identification to buy groceries, and you get Trump at his worst.

Coming from any other President, Trump's brand of crazy talk -- much of it personal, ugly, and deranged -- would be enough to prompt calls for the White House doctor, who would, at the very least, prescribe some rest. But with Trump, statements that sound like he's trying to obstruct justice and distort reality no longer stir widespread outrage because he has taught the world to stop trying to make sense of what he says.

Eighteen months into his administration, Trump has bombarded us with so much awful noise that our minds have been trained to disregard much of it.

A good analogy from biology is what happens to people who work in foul environments and become desensitized to the odors. They just don't notice the stench anymore. In psychology, this process has been observed when it comes to violence. Repeated exposures inure people to the suffering.

Trump understands... "fanning resentments is fundamental to his appeal to a large chunk of voters"

"It's a lot easier to act presidential than to do what I do. Anybody can act presidential!" Trump declared, before tottering across the stage in a parody of a presidential walk, mocking the Oval Office conventions he has shredded since his inauguration, and admitting he likes to be a "little wild, have a little fun" at rallies.

It was an anarchical moment that highlighted the comedy that is an underestimated ingredient of Trump's demagogic technique. It helps bind him to supporters who feel bitter about Washington institutions they believe have cast them cruelly aside.

But it was also a flash of self-awareness by an idiosyncratic politician who intimately understands his own method as one of the great political entertainers, whose skill at fanning resentments is fundamental to his appeal for a large chunk of voters.
Going out on the road, where Trump shatters taboos and dodges accountability for his wild misrepresentations, offers him more than the chance to draw energy from those who love him.

The Tampa rally was a reminder that Trump -- the man, the President and his entire political project -- can be sustained only with the anger, the adulation and the chance to tear at the nation's most irritated political divides that he can find only in a campaign context.

youtuber fed his kids laxative laced ice cream & filmed them crying on the toilet for our enjoyment

it happened in 2016 but youtube just took down the video???

YouTube suspends father's channel with more than 5.6million subscribers after he fed his children ice cream laced with LAXATIVES and then filmed them crying in pain and on the toilet

YouTube star DJ SO COOL's channel was suspended after one of his videos showed him feeding his kids laxative laced ice cream as a prank

The dad then films 90-minutes-later, as his children scream and cry in pain

Then, all as part of his 'prank' for his channel, he films his two smallest children on the toilet in agony and keeps filming despite them trying to close the door

In another removed clip, he lights fireworks in his children's bedroom and films as they cry in terror- laughing 'they think somebody was shooting!'
He also did a 'Drowning Baby Prank' where he tells his partner that their child drowned- and he shouts 'Its a prank sucker!'

The YouTube channel is monetized so the more eyes he gets on his videos with ads the more money they make

Brady was investigated by police in 2016 over the video and it was recommended as a criminal case - however it is not clear at what stage the probe is now
It is not yet clear what charges have been made and it appears YouTube only removed the video last week when the site babe.net reported on it.

In a call to Clark County Child Protective Services, they said they are unable to comment on any potential investigations.

Dr Kortney Peagram, founder of Bulldog Solution, an anti-child abuse organization, told babe.net, the site that originally reported on the laxative video: 'harming your child on purpose with laxatives is child abuse. That's child endangerment.'

His little boy grabs his stomach and cries 'My stomach hurts,' as his dad keeps filming
They try to shove the door closed, but Brady won't let them be alone, as his films what he did to his own children

Also, filming kids that age on the toilet, posting online... not cool.

Biden leads trump in poll for 2020

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/08/01/biden-trump-2020-elections-752979

Former Vice President Joe Biden leads President Donald Trump by 7 percentage points in a head-to-head match-up, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll.

A plurality of registered voters, 44 percent, said they’d choose Biden in the 2020 presidential election, while 37 percent of voters said they would vote for Trump.

The percentage of Democrats who would choose Biden — 80 percent — was slightly higher than the 78 percent of Republicans who would vote for the president‘s reelection. The former vice president, who ran for the White House in 1988 and 2008, has been floated as a 2020 contender, and Biden himself has said he’s not ruling out a third try.

Morning Consult surveyed 1,993 registered voters from July 26 to July 30 for its newest poll released Wednesday.

Biden holds a less-than-commanding position within his own party: Among Democrats, an unnamed generic Democrat runs 9 points better than Biden in a match-up with Trump. "Notably, 89 percent of Democrats say they would vote for a generic Democrat over Trump, but only 80 percent of Democrats say they prefer Biden over Trump,” said Morning Consult Managing Director Tyler Sinclair.
