Expensive chew toys?
My Lab Sophie got ahold of a $20 bill
She chewed most of it up but we were only able to find about half of the pieces on the floor.
Which means she probably ate half of it.
Told my hubby to stop leaving $ out on the top of his desk!
Darn dog did this with a $1 bill not too long ago, she's getting champagne tastes.
She seems no worse for wear.

Abbey Road
The Beatles
1969
Hard to believe that this was the second to the last Beatles album (Let It Be was the last one to be released) and it was only 1969! It's also considered one of their best.
Includes "Come Together," "Something," "Here Comes the Sun," "She Came In Through the Bathroom Window" and"Carry That Weight".

Body and Soul
Joe Jackson
1984
Did you ever buy a whole album just because of one song you absolutely loved? Back in the day when there was no Itunes or stuff like that, I did that sometimes. This is one example -- I heard the song "Be My Number Two" and I just HAD to have this Joe Jackson album.
Also included "You Can't Get What You Want (Till You Know What You Want"
Very, very cool jazz pop from the "Elvis Costello singer-songwriter early 80s" era...
My dog took a cue from Boog
My Sophie must have been reading about the Boog on DU.
I had a carton of yogurt on the table, next thing I knew, it was gone .....
And I saw a yellow Lab with a strawberry covered nose.
As I was driving home just now
I had to stop at a red light behind a Subaru with a rather large TRUMP/PENCE MAGA sticker in the rear window.
I'm sure my blood pressure went up seeing this thing. How in the world, in light of Trump's ignorance, cruelty, racism, destruction of our country's values, grifting, lying, cheating, and vulgarity ..... would anyone still be proud of the fact that they support this clown?

self titled album
1969
Electric guitars meet trumpets and horns in this bluesy, rocky,jam-session of a classic debut album
Includes "Does Anyone Really Know What Time It Is?", "Beginnings," "I'm A Man".
Is anyone watching the mens' curling match?
USA vs. Sweden.
I wish our team would dump those stupid red baseball caps- they look too much like MAGA hats!
I certainly hope that wasn't their intention in wearing them.

Houses of the Holy
Led Zeppelin
1973
A diverse collection of styles (folksy, blues rock, funky guitar riffs) that many critics consider Led Zep's masterpiece (but how can you choose any one of their albums over another?)
Includes "The Song Remains the Same," a little bit of love for James Brown with "The Crunge", a bit of reggae in "D'Yer Ma'Ker" and "The Ocean" (how can anyone sit still listening to that guitar riff!!)
Love it, love it!

Jethro Tull
1971
Wide and varied yet cohesive, Tull's 1971 concept album is one of his finest.
I remember when he came to play a concert at Kent State, I was too poor to buy a ticket, so I sat outside the gym with a couple other financially challenged friends and we listened to it from there! Those were the days.
Includes the title cut, "Cross Eyed Mary", "Locomotive Breath".
