haveahart's JournalI just want to leave this here and hope it isn't taken the wrong way.HRC understands the seriousness
of the Russian hacking in a way I believe Bernie and supporters do not.
The Russian hacking and interference issues almost receive mocking acknowledgement from some "progressives" and right after the election were deemed by some Bernie supporters to be a Clinton cop out. The information and evidence that is being uncovered today makes those kinds of positions ill-advised and dangerous.
There is nothing out there that I know of that keeps Russia from inserting itself into the healthcare debate, especially the single-payer debate taking place today. Fake news and more Russian bots could easily be used to cause unnecessary tension within and among natural allies over their differences of opinion. It is already happening as Democrats who have not signed onto the Medicare for All movement are being maligned by some Bernie supporters on twitter and other places. This should not be happening if unity behind single-payer or universal health care is to prevail. Democrats should not allow outside or inside proponents to force purity tests based on single-payer or Medicare for All positions. We are all working toward a better, fairer, less costly and more effective healthcare system for our country.
Not a way to win support casting innuendo at the folks you need to pass your legislation.
https://twitter.com/NomikiKonstAnother "purity" test for those holding out on single-payer. Not a way to go.
John Hickenlooper speaks speaks for me on healthcare. We should be going for UNIVERSAL coverage
and not just single-payer. Vermont would not even go for single-payer. We want healthcare insurance for all people no matter who pays for it. Not an easy job but doable.
The closer Mueller gets to Trump and family and associates on the Russian collusion,
the more like a Democrat Trump becomes. He is sucking up to the only folks in Congress that can expel him from the WH. He is sucking up big time to the Democratic establishment leaders.
Now he is going to sign a Congressional measure on racism. Of course, his base will forgive him for this because they know he really doesn't mean it. It's means to their ends.

Just finished watching K Tur on Rachel.
I like her a lot and her insight into the grievances of Trump supporters was great. However, I believe she was too kind in her assessment and in blaming "political correctness." I know a lot of Trump supporters, some in my own family sad to say.
Theirs is not a conscience objection to "political correctness" although they enjoy scoffing at it. The ones I know don't even understand what "political correctness" means. Or it means "just the liberals trying to tell us how to live." I do however agree that some went too far in censorship of speech. I think Katie was right about Trump giving his supporters a venue to vent in public all the hate and ignorance and violence they could and feel real comfortable in doing so.
But most of these people held these views long before "political correctness" became a RW smear meme. it's just in them.
If you don't think what Hillary is saying about misogyny and sexism hear this actual event in my
workplace.
Without going into much detail, two second tier managers were up for promotion (gov't). On male, one female. Female had twice the responsibility and had actually trained the other contender three years previously. Supervisor responsible for awarding the promotion told the female that her work was above reproach. However he was awarding the promotion to her male colleague because he "had a family to support."
Ok, let me add here that the female was the mother of three children ages 5-14. I guess she wasn't supporting them?
Trump gets to "harp" complain an complain and blame and blame and he won. Hillary criticized for
telling her story and naming what and who she feels hampered her election. She gets criticized for being honest, Trump can say that he never forgives, never forgets, and punches back harder at whomever attacks him or goes against him. The media treats his attitude as a tough, straight forward, political actor and almost praises is twitter attacks as showing heroic machoism.
No such praise for the brutally honest feelings and truths from Hillary. She is a cry baby, sour grapes loser if she says who she thinks were obstacles to her winning the election. She is shameless blamer and vengeful nasty woman when she says she gives no quarter to the women who refused to vote for her and then felt bad about it.
Yes, the double standard and sexist outrage by both men and women detractors is on full display in the MSM.
Susan Rice exonerated: Smart, black woman doing her job. Trump and Nunes owe her an apology.
Who is this Sara Sanders? She suggests investigation of former FBI Director, now suggest who
should be fired in the private sector. If this were the Obama administration people would be in the street screaming about government overreach.
There should be all kinds of legal suits against this administration for violating civil and constitutional rights. People who are in public know the rules. If this is the standard now.
Why would the FBI ever tell ANYONE that they did not have to reveal contacts with Russians
on a security clearance form?
You get the form, you fill it out. Minimal instructions given.
