KY_EnviroGuy's JournalLook at what this dog invented to cope with lockdown.....
Jerry needs no help playing with his ball.Just kidding.....this was from 2008 but seems appropriate for today.
The author's note:
I built the ball machine because I thought my dog Jerry, might like it and that it would be something fun for me to build. So after two years of on and off work, with many safety features such as IR proximity sensors to protect Jerry and my son from the machine, I finally complete.
Far from being a replacement for me, I was always right there with him enjoying his fun. And with all the troubles that I went through to build the ball machine, I still end up throwing more balls than that the machine could count! According to the computer, he played with the machine by himself only 3 times in his life.
I recently put this video on YouTube to keep alive my earlier memories of him and (hopefully) provide some "humorous distractions" for anyone that might drop by.
Please enjoy the video.
Hell, that would be good for people to help them stay in shape!.....

Revealed: pro-Trump activists plotted violence ahead of Portland rallies
Revealed: pro-Trump activists plotted violence ahead of Portland ralliesPatriots Coalition members suggested political assassinations and said laws will be broken, people will get hurt, leaked chats show

The chats on the GroupMe app, shared with the Guardian by the antifascist group Eugene Antifa, show conversations between Oregon members of the Patriots Coalition growing more extreme as they discuss armed confrontations with leftwing Portland activists, and consume a steady diet of online disinformation about protests and wildfires.
At times, rightwing activists discuss acts of violence at recent, contentious protests, which in some cases they were recorded carrying out. At one point, David Willis, a felon currently being sued for his alleged role in an earlier episode of political violence, joins a discussion about the use of paintballs.
Where other members had previously suggested freezing the paintballs for maximum damage, Willis wrote: They make glass breaker balls that are rubber coated metal. They also have pepper balls but they are about 3 dollars a ball. Dont freeze paintballs it makes them wildly inaccurate [sic.]
So, what can be done about this intentional disruption and demeaning of a peaceful rally? I suspect the same damn thing is happening here in Louisville tonight.
These thugs are against our Constitution......
An elephant in the room asks this question:
Why was it necessary for Mr. Henry to mention race at all in his rant? If he wants to rant, it should be about gun violence in general.
Just remove the word "black" and "white" from his third sentence and nothing he says makes sense.
People are turning everyday non-racial incidents into racial click bait to push a political addenda...........
Local article on this issue, below. Henry sure stirred up a hornet's nest around the Low Country:
No longer the person for that job: NAACP again demands Pawleys mayors resignation

Town council met via Zoom on Monday night, alleviating any potential showdown between the Georgetown chapter of the NAACP and the mayor. This was the second call by the NAACP for Henry to resign, the last occurring on Aug. 29.
With three dozen people in attendance on a sweltering Monday afternoon with two holding signs that showed support for Henry the tone of the NAACPs planned protest was simple: It no longer trusted Henry to represent the best interest of the community.
I lived in that area for a while and it's one of the most deeply racist zones I've been around and I have traveled all over.
Pawleys Island has embraced the descriptive phrase "arrogantly shabby" for decades and Henry's rant is quite representative.
