Easter looming, Kansas Republican leaders on Wednesday revoked Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly’s order limiting religious gatherings to 10 people as the state’s coronavirus death toll jumped 40 percent.

House and Senate leaders — meeting as a body called the Legislative Coordinating Council — voted along party lines to throw out the directive. Their decision came as the number of reported OVID-19 cases in the state climbed to more than 1,000 and the death count ticked up to 38.

Church gatherings have produced three case clusters across the state and health officials fear Easter gatherings could further spread the deadly coronavirus. Pastors and priests now confront a stark choice: forgo in-person services on Christianity’s holiest day or open church buildings and potentially risk exposing parishioners.

As the coronavirus continues to spread, Kansas isn’t doing a good enough job social distancing to flatten the curve, data show.

Human mobility company Unacast uses anonymous data from cellphones to determine the average distance people are traveling during the COVID-19 pandemic compared to the average distance they traveled prior to the outbreak. The data is entered into a color-coded map that is updated daily.

Kansas earned a D ranking. The United States as a whole garnered a C, as of Monday morning.

Do I need to choose different games?

Not having much luck getting control over the games with either the fire tab hd8
or the samsung galaxy tab a 10.1..

One response to this question over at amazon said that the type of games and how they
are setup can affect a controller....

Anyone that can tell me why the two game controllers I've bought won't control the games I've
been downloading out of my google play file..?

Everything shows they should work...the samsung pairs with the device..lights flash
on and off on the controller, like their supposed to .... 8bitdo sf30 pro...Sent a steel series controller back to amazon..told
them it wasn't turnkey...had to download updates etc...never got it to work either..Both show
good bluetooth connection with the device that shows up when bluetooth looks..good pairing connection.. etc etc...

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — As most of the U.S. raced to get ahead of the coronavirus pandemic, conservative Republican lawmakers in Kansas moved Wednesday to limit their Democratic governor’s emergency powers, including the ability to establish quarantine zones if the need arises.

Conservatives are angry with Gov. Laura Kelly's order to close all of the state's K-12 school buildings for the rest of the spring semester. They view it both as an overreaction that is fueling panic and a sign that she's willing to have state government move aggressively into people's businesses and lives.

Some of her most conservative critics also suggested that Kelly's bold action on the coronavirus suggests that she might go after firearms and try to limit their sale. She's never mentioned that she was considering anything like that and despite her past support for gun-rights measures as a legislator.

Sad to see...

But the wingers at the ag sites I attend are starting to justify the virus deaths to just everyday casualties...using numbers against past flu history of occurrences and death..With the underlying, but not spoken..see? its not so bad...Pathetic low lifes...all... ..

Like after 9- 11, they trivialized the deaths as less than at pearl harbor..To sanitize the fact shrub knew about the attack weeks prior but wouldn't shut down the airports...avoid panic...Sound familiar?

EXCLUSIVE-U.S. House panel faults FAA review of Boeing 737 MAX, plane design failures

WASHINGTON, March 6 (Reuters) - A U.S. House investigative report into two Boeing 737 MAX crashes that killed 346 people will fault the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) approval of the plane and Boeing's "design failures."

The preliminary investigative findings from the U.S. House Transportation Committee, which were seen by Reuters and are being released later on Friday, found the FAA's "certification review of Boeing’s 737 MAX was grossly insufficient and that the FAA failed in its duty to identify key safety problems." The 13-page report also finds Boeing's design "was marred by technical design failures, lack of transparency with both regulators and customers." The report adds the findings should prompt legislative changes to address how U.S. regulators approve new aircraft for service. FAA and Boeing did not immediately comment.
