Just received an email from my team, SPDAT (Sun Prairie Democratic Action Team);

“Hi everyone,

Our hard work gave us the outcome we were hoping for at the top of the ticket! Congratulations to all us! It would not have happened without us. We still have a few days of nail biting till all the votes are certified but we are confident. But the outcome in the Senate hangs in the balance. Only the Georgia runoff elections of Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock come between us and another 4 years of Mitch McConnell. We have a postcarding opportunity set up to help with Stacey Abrams’ voter registration and get out the vote efforts in Georgia.

For this project Lift+Every+Vote is partnering with The New Georgia Project which is the nonpartisan nonprofit Stacey Abrams founded to focus on voter registration. NGP is the largest voter registration organization in Georgia with the goal of promoting “the unheard voices of the New American Majority by registering young, African-American, Latinx and Asian-American voters”.”

The rest of the email detailed how and where to pick up postcards to be addressed and stamped.

I’m so pumped to be able to help get these 2 desperately needed Senate seats!

Side note: I was a childcare provider at a facility strictly for the doctors, nurses and staff of this hospital. They are all dedicated and literally putting their lives and their families lives on the line. The mindset in that area is very cultish.
