Introduction

As per the email after 10 posts I will introduce myself. I am a 52 year old small business owner, veteran with 4 step kids and 2 bios.. I have 9 step grand kids. As an an army veteran of 8 years in Army EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), I was assigned to a unit that supported the Secret Service out of NYC. I have personally met Ronald and Nancy, George and Barbara, Mikael and his wife.. Fancios Mitterrand (?sp) and his wife. I have a service disabled son form the Iraq war and one that served in the Navy during these stupid wars. I was a Rush Limbaugh listening repub until about 2003 when I was pissed about the Iraq war and a friend gave me John Perkins book, the Secret of the American Empire.. I am now about 150 books later and call myself a Democratic, Socialist, Entrepreneur, Capitalist that employs people.
I served on our local Jail oversight committee for two years as vice chair until I was asked to leave by an Female, African American Chair that is a republican (is that even possible????).. We had major issues with each other.
I am a staunch progressive and care about our society and the environment... Still haven't been able to become a vegetarian but getting better.

30 Year old evicted by parents

I am from the town where this man was evicted by his parents. This not New York city by any means. Its a small suburb of Syracuse, quite rural and republican.
The story started as a local news report that my partner and I watched at 5:30 in the morning the other day. I said to her... This is news? I was absolutely disgusted that they would exploit a family problem like this (speaking of the local news). Then I found out it had become national and even saw the article on Huffpost today..
Ladies and Gentlemen we are in serious trouble if this type of personal story becomes national news.. It is well past the time we all get on the street and start protesting every day against the Republican Party and Corporate news organizations... This has become Nazi propaganda at it's finest

Remember Niemöller said; First they came for the Jews...

As an 8 year Army vet, with 2 children who served in combat, this needs to stop. We need to be on our rooftops yelling and spitting in the face of family who support this BS...
