Name my costume...

I don't know what to answer if someone asks me what I am supposed to be when I go out trick or treating with my dog tonight. I am wearing my American flag like a cape with big letters pinned down it V * O *T* E.

Any ideas?

What "tricks" is the GOP going to pull in the final days?

They have tried cheating, lying and creating distractions. What else is up their sleeves?

Sales of Ivanka's fashions dive and force her to end her fashion company.

"...sales of the Ivanka Trump brand, on the websites for Amazon, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and others, fell 27 percent in the year ending June 2017, compared with the previous year. In the year ending June 2018, they fell another 55 percent."

"A hashtag campaign called #GrabYourWallet had been urging people to boycott retailers that sold Trump family–connected goods. People particularly targeted Nordstrom for stocking the Ivanka Trump brand, and by February 2017, Nordstrom had dropped the line, a decision it described as being “based on the brand’s performance.” Soon, President Trump was tweeting that Nordstrom had treated his daughter “so unfairly,” and his adviser Kellyanne Conway was telling viewers of Fox News to “go buy Ivanka’s stuff,” adding, “I’m going to give a free commercial here: Go buy it today, everybody; you can find it online.”

Supreme Court turns away GOP attempt to reinstate gerrymandered districts.

"The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rebuffed a bid by Republican legislators in Pennsylvania to reinstate a congressional district map struck down by that state's top court as unlawfully biased in favor of Republicans.
A new state electoral map is seen as giving Democrats a better shot at gaining seats in the U.S. House of Representatives in the Nov. 6 congressional elections in which President Donald Trump's fellow Republicans are seeking to retain control of Congress.

How come we aren't hearing about gun control all weekend?

Instead the focus is on hate crimes and the fucking moron's inciting violence. Can't the media focus on more than one thing? How did the murderer get his assault weapon?

Ali Velshi is crying on MSNBC and now I am too.

He read the names of those killed this weekend. He showed their photos and read what friends remember about each of them.

We can not let this be forgotten. We must hold people accountable...from Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell for not denouncing the GOP enablers and collaborators to Rush Limbaugh and his hate speech to social media who isn't taking serious actions against allowing this to spread.

About BigmanPigman

I am 57, retired teacher and illustrator, life-long dem., activist, union member. Also I do not use social media and I'm technologically retarded. I love dogs, rock music and swearing (a lot). My 17 year old "puppy" died on June 2, 2020. She grew up listening to Animals (Pink Floyd). She has kept me sane through the tRump years, not easy, and has given me endless love, companionship, kisses and tail wags.
