Tomorrow night 9:30 PM Murphy Brown on CBS.

https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/life/entertainment/a20731195/murphy-brown-reboot-details/

The rebooted Murphy will be given a lot of fun watching how the news team reports on current politics during the tRump admin. Should be interesting, funny and better than Roseanne's reboot.

CNN Jake Tapper said that Rosenstein is a distraction

and the fucking moron isn't going into that issue today since he is saving it for the future as a distraction. I believe this...it's his MO.

This fake prez is exhausting us (part of his plan to create unending chaos).

Women's March Resisters: 12:00, noon, Nationwide event Thursday.

https://actionnetwork.org/event_campaigns/webelievechristine?link_id=10&can_id=bfcadfa948ac07d9bf5b1038644acae5&source=email-this-is-how-we-win-8&email_referrer=email_425251___subject_537585&email_subject=this-is-how-we-win

To find an event near you or to host one click on the link and provide your zip code. RESIST!
*************************************************************************************************************
Dr. Blasey Ford is scheduled to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee about her attempted rape on Thursday. That same day, on Thursday, September 27, survivors will gather at their Senators’ offices across the country and share their own testimonies of assault. They will #HearOurVoice.

The Plan:
Find an action near you here. If you don’t see one listed in your area, create your own!

Wear black and write “I BELIEVE” on your hands in marker.

Bring a letter asking your Senator to vote NO on Kavanaugh. We’ve written a sample letter that you can print out and deliver, or you can write your own!

We are asking for actions to be hosted at 12:00pm wherever you are. At 12:30 pm, we’re asking everyone to hold one minute of silence in solidarity with Dr. Blasey Ford and survivors everywhere who have been silenced for too long. During the minute of silence, hold your hands high to show the message “I BELIEVE” written on your palms. Your Senator needs to knows that you, like millions of women, femmes, and allies, #BelieveChristine.

NOTE: When you’re setting up your event and recruiting volunteers to roles, make an effort to invite crisis counselors to be present for care during the speakout. Regardless, not everyone is in a place where they can or want to share their story of assault. That’s okay. You don’t don’t owe anyone a description of your trauma. We still believe you. Your story is still real, and it still matters, even if you aren’t able or do not want to share it.

Didn't Bill Cosby put Quaalude's into the drinks of

his victims? Kavanaugh and Judge did that to Avenati's victim too. If Cosby could be found guilty, why not Kavanaugh?

Hmmmm, which GOP senator is this description of?

"...Because he’s like a serpent covered in Vaseline. Because he treats the American people like two-bit suckers in 10-gallon hats. Because he sucks up to the guy who insulted his wife — by retweet, no less. Because of his phony piety and even phonier principles. Because I see him as the spiritual love child of the 1980s televangelist Jimmy Swaggart and Jack Nicholson’s character in “The Shining.” Because his ethics are purely situational. Because he makes Donald Trump look like a human being by comparison. Because “New York values.” Because his fellow politicians detest him, and that’s just among Republicans. Because he never got over being the smartest kid in eighth grade. Because he’s conniving enough to try to put one over you, but not perceptive enough to realize that you see right through him. Because he’s the type of man who would sell his family into slavery if that’s what it took to get elected. And that he would use said slavery as a sob story to get himself re-elected.
Otherwise, you might say I’m his No. 1 fan."

Will there be a Henry Fonda in the 12 Angry Republicans

in the Judic Comm? Will any of the GOP senators stand up like Fonda did? Is Flake or Sasse human enough to stand up for justice?

Have YOU called any senators yet?

If you did, THANK YOU!!!!

If you didn't, then JUST DO IT! Pleeeeeeeeease!

Call the Senate NOW! This means men too!
87% of the calls have been made by women...why is this considered a woman's issue? It is a human rights issue!
Call the Senate Judiciary Comm this week...

Call them and tell them that they will NOT get reelected by the majority of the US who is against Kavanaugh.
Call all senators and tell them that they are HYPOCRITES and you only vote for reps who have morals and values and who respect women. RESISTANCE WORKS!

CNN's Don Lemon made me cry when he cried on TV just now.

He said he was sexually assaulted and didn't speak about it until he was 30, then this past week a relative contacted him and said the same thing happened to her and she kept it secret due to shame. This is real to men and women. It ruins lives. Patti Davis (Reagan's daughter) is on now talking about her experience. The FBI MUST INVESTIGATE Kavanaugh! Call your senators, call the Senate Jud Comm.

The group/$$$ behind the Kavanaugh ads.

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/brett-kavanaugh-supreme-court-dark-money-727706/

The Judicial Crisis Network has fast become one of the most aggressive dark-money groups on the political landscape when it comes to the courts. The group has already spent more than $4 million to support Kavanaugh’s confirmation, with much of that spending happening in states like Indiana and Missouri, where vulnerable Democratic senators are on the ballot. In earlier Supreme Court battles, the group said it spent $7 million to block the confirmation of Merrick Garland, President Obama’s pick to replace Scalia in 2016, and another $10 million to back the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch, President Trump’s first SCOTUS pick.

The JCN’s big-money donors are a mystery. As a so-called social welfare group, it doesn’t have to disclose its funders. That means that individuals or companies that could one day appear before the Supreme Court may also be bankrolling the campaign to confirm the court’s next justice.

What we do know is that the JCN is the beneficiary of massive anonymous donations by deep-pocketed conservative groups and individuals. Tax records show that in 2016 JCN received $23.5 million from a group called the Wellspring Committee, a sort of ATM for right-wing causes that include the Federalist Society, the conservative analytics outfit Data Trust and the 45Committee, which spent heavily to support Trump’s presidential bid and is affiliated with the Ricketts family, who owns the Chicago Cubs. And Wellspring, in turn, received a jaw-dropping donation of $28 million from a single donor

I heard an interesting theory (and scary)on MSNBC.

A guest, Nick Confessore, said that he thinks the GOP will push Kavanaugh through and is OK with losing one or two terms in the Senate and House since the SCOTUS is more important to the GOP in the long run. They would rather take a small set back in losing the midterms and keep the SCOTUS filled by GOP as their rule over the country for 30 years.

About BigmanPigman

I am 57, retired teacher and illustrator, life-long dem., activist, union member. Also I do not use social media and I'm technologically retarded. I love dogs, rock music and swearing (a lot). My 17 year old "puppy" died on June 2, 2020. She grew up listening to Animals (Pink Floyd). She has kept me sane through the tRump years, not easy, and has given me endless love, companionship, kisses and tail wags.
