I just saw Jimmy Kimmel on the Oscars and he mentioned that Barbra Streisand did and I googled it to see if it was true and it is. I thought of doing this 15 or so years ago before my first dog died and heard it was expensive but I saved a lock of her hair, etc. I never did it since I figured, aside from the price and there are so many dogs that really need a home. Also, I figured that the new dog would look the same but it wouldn't be the same...not the same personality and spirit. I read what Barbra did and said and it is the same thing. The appearance is the same but not the dog's spirit. Do you know of anyone that has done this?

W Virginia GOP leaders accidentally vote to give teachers their raise!
The teachers were striking for a 5% raise and the GOP lawmakers thought they that they had voted for a 4% raise when actually they voted for 5% increase. Teachers in Oklahoma are also demanding raises. Now they are working to repeal the approval. Stagnant wages and spiraling health care costs are the key issues. This is what I experienced as a teacher and union rep in San Diego and this is commonplace throughout the country. Overworked, underpaid, over educated, disrespected teachers have had to take two jobs on top of their 50+ hour work weeks and sky rocketing healthcare costs. Now regular gun safety drills are required as well. No wonder no one wants to teach. You can not live and survive on a teacher's salary in most states.

If Russia is so advanced with technology, why do they use high school graphics?
I was watching Rachel and she showed the " latest graphics" from Putin's speech today showing the superior 
graphics of of their new missiles capabilities. If they can hack our elections, why the Hell do they hire a 5th grader to create graphics for their new high tech weapons to display to the world. It is up there with the video during the DU hack. I don't know tech or graphics well and don't have the actual clip but it is pretty "low tech" as far as Rachel and I are concerned.

I think that Michael Wolff's book Fire and Fury may be onto something regarding the firing of Comey and why Kushner pushed him to do that even though Bannon didn't think he should. Wolff wrote that Jared's dad suggested the firing to protect the family business from being scrutinized.

San Diego is supporting gun control.
The State, city and the schools are making constructive policies. The school district is even supporting the schools that walk out on March 14th. I'll be with others at the Ed Center.
